Job Description:

Talents Tide is looking for a Head of Risk Management Office for its Dubai government client.

Job Purpose

Lead the development, design, and implementation of enterprise risk management frameworks, ensuring effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks across the organization, and integrating risk management into strategic planning to strengthen organizational resilience and continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, policies, procedures, and tools aligned with international best practices
  • Maintain and update the organizational risk register covering strategic, operational, financial, and reputational risks
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, analysis, and prioritization processes
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation, response, and contingency plans
  • Ensure business continuity and crisis management readiness across the organization
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership
  • Provide risk advisory support to departments and business units
  • Coordinate with internal audit to evaluate risks and effectiveness of controls
  • Oversee risk-related legal, contractual, insurance, and compliance matters
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for risk monitoring and decision-making
  • Promote risk awareness through training, workshops, and capacity building
  • Ensure alignment of risk mitigation plans with strategic and operational objectives
  • Represent the Risk Management Office in internal and external meetings
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives such as innovation, excellence, and future readiness
  • Ensure compliance with information security, governance, and HSE policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management or related disciplines
  • Strong experience in risk frameworks, crisis management, and business continuity planning
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
