Senior Pharmacist

We're hiring a Senior Pharmacist to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. In this role, you'll work closely with the wider care team to keep medication use safe, guide treatment decisions, and give patients and staff the drug information they need to make the right calls.

What you'll do

• Advise on new and investigational drugs, side effects, therapeutic risks, and drug interactions, including drug-drug, drug-food, and lab test interference
• Manage and control investigational and narcotic medicine per approved policy
• Monitor patient drug therapy, checking dose, route, regimen compliance, and adverse reactions
• Educate and counsel patients on their medication and drug-related disease prevention
• Process medication records, and prepare, package, and dispense unit dose medication and sterile products
• Fill and check outpatient and inpatient prescriptions for accuracy before dispensing
• Inspect drug storage and floor stock regularly to catch outdated or unusable drugs
• Prepare sterile products, including IV admixtures and TPN
• Train pharmacy students
• Take on additional duties as your line manager assigns

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Master's preferred)
• Valid pharmacy license from the relevant health authority
• 3 years of experience for UAE Nationals, or 10 years for non-Nationals (1 year if you hold a Master's)
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication with patients and colleagues
