VDC - BIM Coordinator (UAEN)
Job Description:
- The VDC Coordinator coordinates BIM and digital design logistics with the design team including coordination with architects, project managers, designers, engineers, and estimators.
- Maintain and operate point cloud scanning field equipment for documenting building and site existing conditions.
- Creates and maintains digital architectural and engineering models, including developing existing condition BIM models for project specific requirements.
- Receives and manages multiple subcontractor models, including solving problems and educating internal and exterior project team members through BIM management.
- Communicates conflicts in models, both real and potential.
- Responsible for maintaining, developing, and refining design firm project standards and templates utilized by the design and construction teams.
- Secondary responsibilities will include drafting within all phases of design including Preliminary, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document phases
- Ensure Adherence to ISO BIM standards and process.
