Job Purpose

• Provide direct patient care and nursing intervention, demonstrate clinical nursing knowledge and skills relevant to the area of practice, and utilize evidence-based practice to achieve quality patient outcomes

Roles & Responsibilities

• Writes patient nursing care plans
• Implements plans through tasks such as preparing patients for operations, wound treatment, and monitoring vital signs
• Sets up infusions and blood transfusions
• Acts as a patient advocate by making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality
• Communicates with and relieves the anxiety of patients and their relatives
• Responds appropriately to emergencies
• Identifies the activities of daily living and appropriately plans, implements, and evaluates physical and psychological care
• Reports incidents and complaints to Senior Nursing Personnel on duty
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates evidence-based midwifery care, incorporating every woman's unique needs, expectations, lifestyle, and cultural background
• Ensures that care within the facility is performed in accordance with established corporate and hospital policies and procedures and international standards
• Ensures clinical resources and continuity of care during her hours of duty
• Undertakes additional tasks as assigned

Qualification Requirements

• BSC or equivalent in Nursing — Required
• License from the relevant health authority — Required

Experience Requirements

• 5 years' experience
