Senior Embryologist
Dubai, UAE

We're hiring a Senior Embryologist to lead laboratory work in a Dubai-based Fertility Center's Embryology & Andrology lab. You'll take ownership of fertility investigation and treatment at the lab level, mentor junior embryology staff, and be the person patients turn to for clear, compassionate updates during one of the most sensitive parts of their care journey.

What you'll do

  • Lead laboratory-based fertility investigation and treatment, keeping patient information confidential and handled per approved protocols
  • Enforce Health and Safety and IVF Lab Policies in daily operations, and guide junior staff on these standards
  • Implement and monitor SOPs in line with the relevant Fertilization Law
  • Prepare center statistics, audits, and KPIs for the Consultant
  • Oversee sample labelling, witnessing procedures, and liquid nitrogen levels for safe gamete and embryo storage
  • Perform embryo transfers, egg retrieval, ICSI, assisted hatching, and sperm preparation under consultant supervision
  • Communicate treatment progress and results to patients and families, including difficult news, with sensitivity and clarity
  • Support the Consultant in patient discussions on treatment options and results
  • Carry out the full range of clinical embryology tasks: semen analysis, sperm retrieval (MESA, PESA, TESE), oocyte and embryo culture, blastocyst grading, and cryopreservation
  • Maintain quality control, quality assurance, and documentation across all lab activities
  • Stay current through scientific workshops and CME for license renewal

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Applied Science, Biology, or Medical Science with a Human Embryology emphasis (non-nationals also need a Master's plus advanced training)
  • Valid license to practice as an embryologist
  • 7 to 8 years of experience in Embryology
  • A steady hand under pressure and genuine care for patients navigating fertility treatment
